Youth Flag Football

Armor Sports offers several ways to get involved in NFL Flag Football through Summer Camps, Fall Recreational and Competitive Division and our Spring Tournament Season. All our teams are led by PCA-certified coaches. Whether players are beginners or experienced, we know they'll have a blast at NFL Flag Football.

Recreational Division

Our Recreational Division, open to boys and girls ages 5 – grade 6, focuses on teaching the fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment. With 60 minute weekly practices and Saturday games, players get equal playing time and quality coaching from PCA-certified volunteers using the NFL Flag playbook. It’s a great way for kids to stay active, make friends, and learn the game, whether they’re brand new to football or building on the basics.

Competitive Division

Get ready for a higher level of play this fall with our Competitive Division of NFL Flag Football! Designed for experienced players in grades 2 – 6. This division offers more advanced skill development, 90 minute weekly practices, and exciting Saturday matchups against other Armor Sports NFL flag teams. Athletes are led by seasoned, PCA-certified coaches using the NFL Flag playbook. Players can join as free agents or request to play with a specific coach or team. With equal playing time and a season-ending tournament for the top teams, it's the perfect challenge for young athletes ready to compete.

Spring Tournament Season

Rise up and represent Armor Sports at the Browns NFL FLAG Spring Regional Tournament, an official NFL FLAG event! This high-energy flag football tournament is open exclusively to players from our Fall 2025 Armor Sports NFL FLAG League. Teams will train locally, then head to Cleveland to compete on a regional stage. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three pool play games, with the top 50% advancing to same-day tournament play.

Players can register as a full team (coach-requested) or sign up as a free agent and be placed on a team with an experienced NFL FLAG coach. Max 10 players per team. Compete for custom championship rings, MVP swag bag, and a bid for the 2025 NFL FLAG Championships. Registration opens in October. Don’t miss your chance to shine and show the region what Armor athletes are made of!

Spring Tournament Season: Boys and girls ages 7-12 that have played in our Fall Armor Sports NFL Flag League. Players must meet August 1 age cut-off by division.

Summer Mini Camp: This 3-day camp is held at the Armor Sports Complex.
Fall Season: Practices are at local campuses and Saturday games are played at the Armor Sports Complex.
Spring Tournament Season: Teams will have a choice to practice locally or at the Armor Sports Complex.

Summer Mini Camp: Registration is open and will close July 15 or once spots fill up.
Fall League: Registration is open and closes July 23.
Spring Tournament Season: Registration opens in October.

Summer Mini Camp: Three days in a row (Sunday-Tuesday) for 60-90 minutes depending on age, July 20 - 22.
Fall Recreational Division: Practices are 60 minutes weekly. Games are one hour on Saturdays, August 18 - October 11.
Fall Competitive Division: Practices are 90 minutes weekly. Games are one hour on Saturdays, August 18 - October 11.
Spring Tournament Season: 3-4 practices (90 minutes each) in April/May and travel to the Browns Regional Event.

    • Rosters are formed by the Armor Sports staff based on registration requests, registrant geographic location, ages, and experience levels of each team member. No more than 10 players per team. We strive for competitive balance in each division.
    Get the Team Snap app! Team Snap is our go to communication tool for families, coaches, and administrators. All post registration information such as schedules, rosters, league calendar, and league updates take place in Team Snap. If you have recently registered for any Armor Sports league, download Team Snap (App Store or Google Play). All roster information will be released close to the season starting. You will get an invitation email.
