Today’s Scripture: Ephesians 2:10
Many people spend their lives searching for purpose. They wonder why God created them and what difference their lives can make.
Scripture provides a powerful answer.
Paul writes, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
You were not created merely to consume resources, pursue comfort, or accumulate accomplishments. You were created to contribute.
God has uniquely shaped every believer with gifts, passions, experiences, abilities, and opportunities that can bless others. No one is excluded from this calling.
Some serve publicly. Others serve quietly.
Some lead. Others encourage.
Some teach. Others listen.
Every act of service matters because every act of service reflects God’s design for His people.
Unfortunately, many people compare their contribution to someone else’s and begin believing their role is insignificant. Nothing could be further from the truth.
God does not measure importance the way people do. He sees every act of faithfulness.
The smile offered. The prayer spoken. The meal delivered. The encouragement shared. The need met. All of it matters.
You were created on purpose and for a purpose.
God wants to use your life to impact others in ways you may never fully realize.
PERSONAL REFLECTION
What gifts, experiences, or abilities has God entrusted to you? Ask Him how He wants you to use them to serve others this week.
PRAYER
Father, thank You that I am Your handiwork, created in Christ to do good works You prepared in advance for me. I was made not just to consume, but to contribute. Forgive me for comparing my role to others and doubting that mine matters. Show me how to use the gifts, experiences, and abilities You have entrusted to me to bless those around me this week.
