Connect

Life is better together.

God never meant for us to do life alone. We all need people in our corner – friends who know us, show up for us, and walk with us through it all. Real growth rarely happens in isolation. God uses people to shape people. When we live connected, we’re challenged to grow, supported when we stumble, comforted in loss, and simply happier.

Groups at NewPointe are where connection and growth happen. It’s where friendships are made, life change happens, and God shows up in a real way. No matter where you are in your story, you were made to live it in community.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No matter where we are in life, we all need meaningful relationships—people we can have fun with, feel safe with, and grow alongside. Those kinds of relationships can be hard to find, but joining a group is a great way to build community and learn to live like Jesus.

We offer three main types of groups: Life Groups, Rooted Groups, and Focused Groups.

You’ll find groups for men, women, couples, young adults, and topical groups that address specific life needs. Some groups are designed to help you grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus, while others focus on equipping you for different areas of life.

Most groups meet in person in homes or public spaces throughout the community. Groups gather on different days and nights of the week.

Every group looks a little different, but they all share the same core elements: connection, learning, and application around real-life topics.

Groups are focused on encouraging authentic community and helping people live out what they believe. And because life is better with laughter, having fun together is just as important.

A group often becomes like family—sometimes you talk, sometimes you listen. No one is forced to speak or answer questions.

Everyone moves at a different pace, and that’s okay. To get the most out of the experience, we encourage sharing as you feel comfortable, knowing that discussion often leads to deeper connection.

It depends on the group. You can use the Group Finder filters to search for groups where kids are welcome.

If childcare is provided, those details will be listed with the group or can be confirmed by connecting directly with the group leader.

No. You don’t have to attend NewPointe to join a group.

Our hope is that everyone feels welcomed and supported. If your first connection with NewPointe is through a group, we’re glad you’re here.

We have two primary group launch seasons each year—in January and August—when a wide variety of groups are available.

We also launch specialized and care groups throughout the year. Using the Group Finder, you can join a group directly or reach out to the leader with questions.

If you’re having trouble finding a group that works for you, let us know. We’re happy to help.

A leader from your group will reach out with next steps and details. Be sure to check the email address you used when signing up.

We’re glad you asked. Leading a group is easier than ever because we provide the support.

That includes coaching, training, curriculum resources, and ideas for gatherings. We provide the plan, training, and tools. You provide the leadership.
